Our process

Intentional support for the season you're in—and the one you're growing toward.

At Ellipsis, we don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all coaching. Our process is designed to meet you where you are with care, clarity, and curiosity. Whether you’re navigating burnout, transition, recovery, or simply ready to realign your life—we walk with you through meaningful, sustainable change.

A “no pressure” approach

We begin with a complimentary 15-minute discovery call. This is a space to connect, ask questions, and determine which service—or combination—best fits your current needs. No pressure, no hard sell. Just clarity.

Setting the

agenda

After your free discovery call, we’ll help you choose the session that best supports where you are right now. You might be ready for Life Coaching to gain clarity and momentum, Recovery Coaching to gently rebuild after a hard season, a focused Dopamine Detox to restore balance and attention, or a one-time Strategic Reset to recalibrate your next steps.

Showing up

Each session is a judgment-free space. We’ll listen deeply, ask purposeful questions, and reflect what we’re hearing with honesty and care. Together, we identify what's weighing you down, what's calling you forward, and what small, doable steps can help you bridge the gap.

Building momentum

Our work doesn’t end with insight—it moves into action. You’ll leave each session with greater clarity and at least one meaningful step to take, grounded in your values and vision. For those in multi-session work, we’ll track your momentum and adjust as life evolves.

Staying connected

We offer optional support between sessions through email check-ins, reflection prompts, or follow-up calls to keep your momentum strong and your heart engaged.

FAQs

Who is Ellipsis for?

Ellipsis is for anyone navigating transition, burnout, grief, or simply feeling out of alignment. We work with adults and are also open to supporting children and teens on a case-by-case basis, especially when emotional regulation, resilience, or recovery is needed.

What happens in a discovery call?

Our free 15-minute discovery call is a no-pressure space to get to know each other. We'll talk through what you’re experiencing, answer any questions you have, and recommend the service that best fits your needs.

Do you work with children or teens?

Yes. We work with children and adolescents on a case-by-case basis, with a focus on emotional wellness, stress recovery, and creating healthy daily rhythms. We often work with kids who are experiencing burnout, anxiety, or overstimulation from screen time and digital inputs. Our Dopamine Detox support for youth is designed to gently help reset their nervous system, improve focus, and restore balance—without shame or rigidity. Let’s talk in the discovery call to make sure it’s the right fit for your child’s needs.

Is this therapy?

No, coaching is not therapy. While both offer supportive space, coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented. We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you’re unsure what support is best, we’re happy to guide you toward the right resource.

What’s your coaching style?

We lead with clarity, care, and direct communication. Our sessions are rooted in deep listening and honest conversation—thoughtful, but never vague. Whether you need space to process or strategy to move forward, we’ll meet you with proper support and the kind of truth-telling that honors both where you are and where you want to go.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are available virtually via Zoom or phone for ease and flexibility. For those who prefer in-person support, we offer sessions at The AromaRoom in Brownsburg, IN—a calming, spa-like environment designed for reflection and renewal. If a more casual setting feels right, we’re also open to meeting at a local coffee shop. We’ll work together to choose the space that feels most supportive for you.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance, as our services fall under coaching and wellness rather than medical or mental health treatment. However, many clients are able to use their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for sessions. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm eligibility. Payment is due at the time of booking, and we accept most major forms of digital payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule sessions. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the session cost, and missed appointments without notice will be charged in full. If you’re running late, please let us know—we’ll do our best to honor your full session time when possible, but sessions may still need to end at the originally scheduled time to respect other clients.
